Ngā Tangata Tiaki o Whanganui hold the license of Te Reo Irirangi o Whanganui Incorporated trading as AWA FM. AWA FM is governed by a board of trustees who must whakapapa to Whanganui. Racquel McKenzie is our chairwoman. Her fellow board members are Whetu Moataane, Kylee Osborne and Nancy Tuaine.
The station is currently looking for a Kaiwhakahaere to lead the station in its transition to a multimedia provider within the Whanganui rohe and beyond.
